Obituary of Stanley Lee Barry

Stanley Lee Barry, 86, of Westfield, NY passed away on Monday morning February 8, 2021 at his
residence with his family at his side.
He was born on April 24, 1934 in Westfield, NY the son of the late Leo and Mary (Shaw) Barry. He
married Amelia Cooper on October 5, 1955 in Corry, Pa. and together they raised five children.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 65 years, Amelia J. Barry; four sons, Troy (Janet) Barry of Mayville, NY,
Todd Barry of Westfield, NY, Brett (Beth) Barry of Eldred, PA and Craig (Sue) Barry of WA; a daughter,
Deborah Brown of N. Wilkesboro, NC; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Stanley worked for Welch Foods Inc in Westfield as a watchman, retiring with 37 years of service.
He loved cars and motorcycles, especially racing stock cars in WNY and around Erie, Pa. Stanley enjoyed
camping with the family at Woodlawn Retreat Campground in Columbus, Pa, sitting on the bench at
Scrinno’s News Room smoking a cigar, reading the daily newspaper, cutting the grass on his riding
lawnmower, reading anything to do with history and everybody will miss his sense of humor, Stanley
enjoyed making people laugh.
A funeral service will be held at the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield on Friday, February
12, 2021 at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery.
