Tim and I are so sadden to hear of Mike's passing. He was loved my many, me included. Will miss seeing him at the WV and the Vikings. Have so many great memories of times throughout the many years of knowing him. Remember Cindy when you guys "popped in" at Kiawah unexpectedly? So much fun. Thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this sorrowful time. He will be missed. RIP Mikey.

My heart aches for Cindy, Kirsten, Terri, Tim, Dan, their families and friends. Mike was fun-loving and I'll remember him smiling as he usually was, or maybe smirking if he was up to some mischief. One of my fondest memories was trying to keep up with him on a back road driving to Orchard Park to watch the Bills play the Broncos in an early 90's playoff game. We had to get to the tailgate! He gave me one of my first jobs and taught me quite a bit about construction, even after I ran over his scaffolding with the truck. Mike was one with a true passion for life, someone you were always excited to see, and was always excited to see you. He will be missed.

Cindy and the entire Burns Family- On behalf of the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department, we share in your loss. In past years Mike was a very active member whom you could always count on. To honor his contribution to our community and as a firefighter, the traditional Fireman's Mourning Bunting has been displayed over the door at the firehouse in his memory.
