Obituary of Ethel R. Kilbury

WESTFIELD - Ethel R. "Peggy" Kilbury, age 75, of Falconer Street, Jamestown, NY, formerly of Cascade St. Erie, PA, and Tanglewood Manor of Jamestown, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at The Lutheran Home in Jamestown. Ethel was born on March 2, 1933 in Chautauqua County, NY, a daughter of the late Floyd and Ruth (Johnson) Kilbury. She retired from Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA as a Food Service Worker in 1990's after more than 40 years of service. Miss Kilbury was a member of the Hamot Medical Center Retiree's Assoc. She loved her several pet dogs that she had over the years. She is survived by her sister: Betty Ward and her husband Harry of Dewittville, NY and her brother: Robert Kilbury of MN. As well as several nieces and nephews including; Julie Holland, Harry, George, David, Stephen and Mary Ward, Lynda Gressner, Jeaneanne Colwell, Lisa Voyovich, Susan Crawford, Karin Haile, Scott Kilbury, Colleen Sutton, Bonnie Kahler, Gene (Max) Kilbury, Jr., Scott LaVange, Shelly LaVange, Mark Kilbury and Robin Raber, as well as her best friend Robert "Brownie" Brown, of Tanglewood Manor. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Charles and Gene Kilbury and her nephew Michael Ward. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the Funeral Services at 12 Noon at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY. The Rev. Lyle Leach, of the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Dewittville will officiate. Private Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Erie, PA.
