Obituary of Joseph V. Worrell

Joe had been a Westfild resident since 1946 following his discharge from the US Army 100th Infantry Division, having served in the European Theater. From 1946 to 1954 he operated Modern Motors and Farm Equipment sales in Westfield at the location now housing Dodge City Motors. From 1954 to 1957, Joe was a salesman who sold Intercoms and PA systems to schools throughout the US, and built the former Vanguard Lanes Bowling Alleys, Lounge and Restaurant. He then operated Worrell Catering until his retirement . Joe had been a member of St. James Major RC Church (now St. Dominic), TheJohn W. Rogers American Legion Post 327 and the Wm. P. Jackway VFW Post 6764 all of Westfield, and had been a member and Past Commander of the DAV.
