Obituary of Jeffrey Allan Hunt
Please share a memory of Jeffrey to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Throughout his life Jeff acquired many life long friends with whom he participated in various sports leagues playing softball, golf, bowling, and bubble hockey. Not only did he have a love of participating in sports but he was also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills (season ticket holder for many years), the Buffalo Sabres, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Additionally, Jeff invested time in the children of his community by coaching midget league football, girls' softball, and a youth basketball league in Dunkirk. He was very proud of teaching Sunday school at the First United Methodist Church of Westfield, however, nothing made Jeff more proud than watching his two daughters grow into the successful and caring women that they are today.
Jeff's love of cooking led him to work in many local establishments around Chautauqua County including The Sword and Shield, the Westfield Moose, and twenty years as the Steward of the John W. Rogers American Legion Post. Known by many as a loyal, fun loving, and giving person Jeff was always willing to help those in need or to offer a quick witted remark during times when someone needed a laugh. He will be sadly missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
