Oh boy bompa do i miss you. I miss having someone i can call and talk to about anything i had a problem with. I miss our fun grocery shopping trips to aldis, and our fun drives around town or anywhere just so i could drive you around. I miss having to worry about seeing you the next day i really do. When you were in the hospital many different times but the very last when they said you wouldnt make it i cried yes, but i knew you would make it because you make it through anything. You always pulled through and tricked the doctors every single time. What do i miss the most about my grandpa i was once asked and i said i miss the fact that he didn't see me reach 18 so i could buy him a pack of cigarettes or the fact that he missed my graduation. Well bompa i did it i finally graduated and the whole time i was up on that stage looking out into the crowd there were two amazing people that were missing and that was you and grandma. There will never be any pictures of me and my wonderful grandparents with my diploma or any of that, but i knew that you were up there throwing a party for me with grandma saying whooo hoo she finally did it!!! I knew you were looking down on me and i knew and still know that you are so proud of me and all that i have accomplished. Well grandpa i start at Jamestown Community College to study early childhood development on august 22nd...man do i miss you..well give grandma a kiss for me and of course a kiss to you. Oh and grandpa i know you rememeber alyssa and i know she is up there with you too give her a great big hug and kiss from me and tell her i never stop thinking about her. I will never forget you, grandma, or alyssa. I love all of you. Love your grown up grandaughter Merrie (but im still your little angel as always) :)

To Cheryl and Family -I'm so glad I got to congratulate Milt my self while he was still alive on his 50 years in the Fire Dept. and that's 50 years of a lot of work and time spent making Westfield a better place. Unfortunately a lot of people will never know how much he really did. It's hard to sit in a wheelchair and see another member of the "breed" that made the Fire Service what it is today pass on. They don't make 'um like that anymore. And another one is gone.My respect and condolences to his family. Be Proud.Paul TrippyD. R. Barker Hose Co. No. 1, Inc.Past Chief, Fredonia Fire Dept.
