Obituary of Vincent Eisaman SR

Vincent H. Eisaman, Sr., age 88, of East Main Street, Fredonia, NY, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at The Absolut Care of Westfield, in Westfield, NY. Vincent was born on March 8, 1922 in Napoleon, Ohio, the son of the late Vilas and Maude (Barton) Eisaman. A Fredonia resident since 2005, Mr. Eisaman came here in retirement to live close to his son and family. He enjoyed a 20 year career with NY Life Insurance Co. as an Agent and enjoyed many years of Ministering to many Churches in the southern United States, most notably in Georgia and Mississippi. His last charge was with the Helena Presbyterian church of Pascagoula, Mississippi. He enjoyed playing pinochle, spending time with his family and spreading the Word of God. Mr. Eisaman was a member of Christ Community Church in Fredonia, and attended the Fredonia Senior Center at St. Anthony's Church. He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Doris Cope of Pittsburgh, PA and his son, Rev. Vincent H. Eisaman, II and his wife Priscilla of Fredonia, his grandchildren, Christopher Daly of Savannah, GA; Jack Daly of Hilton Head, SC, Taylor Cope of Madison, WI, Charles "Chip" Cope of Atlanta, GA, Ben Cope of Pittsburgh, PA, Elliott Eisaman of Holland, MI, Timothy Eisaman and Hannah Eisaman both of Fredonia, and 4 Great Grandchildren. Vincent is further survived by his Sister, Cleo Niese of Leipsic, OH and his brother, Barton Eisaman of Napoleon, OH. He was preceded in death by his first Wife, Dorothy Henkel Eisaman who died in 1997, his second Wife, Ruth (Brittell) Eisaman who died in 2005, and by his sister, Ilene Busch. No calling hours will be observed. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the Sanctuary of Christ Community Church, 219 Berry Road, Fredonia, NY.
