A Westfield area resident for over 25 years, Jim had been employed by Better Baked Foods in the Westfield plant for the past 25 years as a Maintenance Mechanic. "Tex", as he was known by friends was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed golf, fishing and the great outdoors. Jim enojoed tinkering with cars and mechanical things, and was effectionatly known as "a shade tree mechanic". He was a great Dad and anjoyed spending time with his boys and watching them play sports in High School.
