Obituary of Marilyn L. Reynolds

WESTFIELD - Marilyn L. (Rexford) Reynolds, age 76, of Crandall St., Westfield died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pennsylvania following a brief illness. Marilyn was born on December 31, 1934 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late George and Louise (Kastner) Rexford. Marilyn had been a Westfield resident all her life. She had been employed by the former Loblaw's grocery store for a brief time and then worked for Westfield Academy and Central School first in the cafeteria then as a bus monitor and retired in 1997 as the B.O.C.E.S. run Bus Driver. She enjoyed working with special needs children through her job at the School and the B.O.C.E.S. LoGuidice Center in Dunkirk. Marilyn had been a NASCAR fan since the 1950's and an avid Buffao Bills fan. As a fantastic wife and mother, she was Scout Leader, Score Keeper for Little League Baseball and spent the summers organizing the neighborhood kids into summertime activities. She was a devoted and loving grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Everette J. Reynolds, whom she married on August 9, 1953 in Westfield, her son: Everette John Reynolds, Jr. of Westfield, NY, and her granddaughters, Jennifer Cambria of Dunkirk, NY, Jacklyn Reynolds of Erie, PA; and Jessica Reynolds of Charleston, IL.
