Obituary of Roberta C Vilardo

Roberta C. Vilardo, 85, of Williamsville, NY, formerly of Westfield, NY passed away on Wednesday,
September 7, 2022 at the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, NY.
She was born in Mayville, NY on May 2, 1937, the daughter of the late Floyd and Charlotte (Thornton)
Casler. On January 30, 1959, she married Carl L. Vilardo Jr. in Mayville, NY and he preceded her in death
on April 23, 2014.
She is survived by two loving children, Carl (Lynne) Vilardo III of Westfield, NY and Lisa M. Orlando of
Clinton, NY; six cherished grandchildren, Bradley (Linsay)Strobl , Dr. Jenna Strobl, Alexa (Ariel) Vilardo,
Carl L. Vilardo IV, Julia (Benjamin) Owens and Matthew Orlando; two great-grandchildren, Carson and
Keaton Strobl; a son-in-law, Mark Strobl.
Roberta was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Strobl, a sister, Joyce Barkley and four
brothers, Harold “Tip”, her twin brother, Robert, William “Dave” and Lawrence Casler.
She was an active member of St Dominic RC Church, where she participated in the Altar Rosary Society
and the Parish Council, the Westfield Jaycees, Zonta Club (women’s rights), Women of the Moose, Union
Relief, Republican Committee and the Tuesday Night Golf League at Pinehurst in Westfield.
Roberta thoroughly enjoyed golfing and sewing.

Hospital, 189 E. Main St. Westfield, NY 14787.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield on Friday,
September 9, 2022 from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September
10, 2022 at St. Dominic’s RC Church, 15 Union St. Westfield, NY at 11AM. Please assemble at the church.
Interment will be in St. James Cemetery.
