Obituary of Elizabeth A. Dulmus

WESTFIELD - Elizabeth A. (Kehrli) Dulmus, age 80, of Westfield died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA, following a brief illness. Elizabeth was born on January 2, 1931 in Mayville, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and Lizzie (Arnink) Kehrli. A Westfield resident most all her life, "Babe", as she was know by family and friends, loved her family and enjoyed every minute she spent with them. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a NY Yankees fan. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards, bingo and gardening. Mrs. Dulmus was a life member of the Wm. P Jackway Post 6764 VFW Auxiliary and a life member of the John W. Rogers Post 327 American Legion Auxiliary both of Westfield. She is survived by her four daughters: June (Ray) Schuster of Westfield, NY, Ruth (Marian) Majcher of Silver Creek, NY, Mary (Daniel) Millet and Audrey Dulmus both of Westfield, NY and her two sons: William Dulmus of Westfield, and George (Bonnie) Dulmus of Harborcreek Twp., PA. 10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan H. Dulmus, whom she married on April 2, 1949 and who died on December 27, 1972 and by her brother, Howard Kehrli, and her sister, Clarann Thoms. Friends may call on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, and are invited to attend the Funeral Services there on Monday morning at 11:00 AM with US Army Chaplain, Capt. Phillip Majcher, her grandson, officiating. Private burial will be in Westfield Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Fire Department of Westfield Memorial Fund, 23 Elm Street, or to the Wm.
