DEAR EMILIE, JOHN AND I WERE SO SADDEND TO HEAR OF YOUR MOM'S PASSING.SHE AND I GO BACK A LONG TIME TO SCHOOL DAYS IN JAMESTOWN.I LOOKED IN ONE OF MY SCRAPBOOKS AND FOUND A PLAYBILL FROM A PRODUCTION WE WERE IN TOGETHER.I WILL SEND YOU A COPY AS WELL AS A PHOTO FROM THAT ERA.IN LATER LIFE, WE WERE AGAIN JNVOLVED IN SIMILAR ACTIVITIES AND OFTEN COMPARED NOTES ON HOW ALIKE THEY WERE. WE EACH HAD OUR HISTORICAL MUSEUMS.WE COLLECTED AND SOLD ANTIQUES (YOUR MOM WITH THE BETTER EYE FOR QUALITY).ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, WE EACH HELD ANTIQUE SALES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR MUSEUMS. YOUR MOM ALWAYS FELT PASSIONATELY ABOUT THE ACTIVITIES SHE WAS INVOLVED WITH AND GAVE UNSTINTINGLY OF BOTH HERE TIME AND TREASURE TO SUPPORT THEM. Dear Mark and family, The loss of a mother is never easy. My prayers are with you. I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to meet your mother -- such a beautiful and vital person. But she will always be with you through the wonderful things she created and left behind. No doubt there's a beautiful new star in the sky shining as brightly as your mother did in her life. Dear Family,It is so sad to see that your dear Mom has passed. Priscilla was such a sweet lady. Back when your mom, Annie Hooper, Maynard Waite,Verna Hale, and Mary Wiquist were running estate sales businesses it was a plus if a sale was being done by your Mom as it would be a quality sale with nice antiques. Not only that, but she was so nice to all her customers, even if they only had a few dollars they could afford to spend (like me with a young family). Priscilla's hand in making the Westfield Antiques Show into the annual highlight of the summer will always be treasured. She will be remembered and thought of for all that she has done for Westfield and the McClurg Mansion. May she rest in peace.

"Grandma P", as my sister and I called her, was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was always very welcoming when we came to visit and wanted to be connected to us. Based on what I know about her involvement in Westfield, she contributed so much to the town and was constantly involved. She was so humble and calm all the time.Grandma P, I miss you so much already. I hope you're in a better place now- you deserve it. I love you!! Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine: et lux perpetua luceat eis.

I remember Priscilla mostly from Washington Jr. High. She was very talented in drama and appeared in many plays. I am surprised there was no mention of theater work. It is not surprising to see how many things she excelled in. I knew her father Floyd through working at Dairyland where he would stop for coffee. He loved taking a group out on his boat. Priscilla surely had a beautiful life, full of adventure. May she rest in peace. God Bless her family.Peggy (Vullo) Eades
