Deborah A. Phillips
December 20, 1950 – April 16, 2024
Deborah A. Phillips, 73, of Westfield, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Buffalo General Hospital with her family at her side.
Deb was born on December 20, 1950 in Marilla, NY the daughter of the late Lyle and Verna (nee Tarnish) Lippert. She married the love of her life, Jock Jeffrey Phillips on August 22, 1970 and he preceeded in death on November 27, 2012. She is survived by three loving children Robyn D. (Eric) Dhali, Jennifer J. (Kevin) Russo, and Jeffery J. (Jennifer) Phillips; nine cherished grandchildren Caleb and Rachel Dhali, Giovani, Sofia, Mariella, and Aria Russo, Cassidy, Tristen, and Kadence Phillips and her precious great-grandson Beau Dhali. She was also predeceased by her four siblings Beverly Simme, Marlene Emden, Betty Streit and Larry Lippert.
She was a 1969 graduate of Iroquois High School in Elma, NY and had a long career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Debbie was the former owner of Mid-Town Florist in Marilla, NY. She was strong in her faith and loved by her community. Deb was an avid sports fan, especially the Buffalo Bills, NY Yankees, and the Florida Gators. She loved the Ocean, the beach, outdoors, boating and fishing, but most of all she adored her family with all of her soul.
“A Celebration of Life” will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 12-4 PM at the American Legion Post 327, at 7479 East Main Street, Westfield, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY.
