WESTFIELD - Victoria Toplovich Baker, age 86, of Portland Ave., Rochester, NY, formerly of Westfield, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at home in Rochester.
Victoria was born on May 25, 1925 in Torpedo, PA the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Poplovich) Toplovich.
She retired from Westfield Academy and Central School in 1985.
Victoria was a member of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church of Westfield, and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She had resided in Rochester for several years to be closer to her children.
She is survived by her daughter: Lori (Patrick) McCormick of Honeoye Falls, NY and her son: Steven Baker of Rochester, NY. She is further survived by her siblings,
Katherine Eggert of Westfield, NY, Daniel Toplovich of Columbus, PA, and Carl Toplovich of Warren, PA. She was the proud grandmother of Brian and Bridget Baker, both of Rochester.
Victoria was preceded in death by her seven sisters, Mildred Hovanic, Helen Kecer, Pauline Smith, Thelma Kushner, Julia Palermo, Anna Wright, Mary Zavinski and by her three brothers, Emil, Paul and Joseph Toplovich.
Friends may call at the MASON Funeral home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY on Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 11am until the time of services there at 1 PM with Father Marius J. Walter officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
