Mom, you and Dad always made Easter so special for us. Egg hunts, looking for our Easter baskets, new spring outfits for church and the wonderful dinner you always made. I try to carry on with many of the traditions, it makes me feel a lot closer to you.
I love you and miss you so much.

It has been two long years since you've been gone. There are days that something happens or I see something and I think to myself I need to tell Mom, she would be interested in that. I can't in person but I can in spirit. One day I will be able to see your face again and be with you. Until then Mom, I miss you and think of you every day. I am trying to live my life in a way that would make you proud of me.

I think of my mother more than usual during the holidays. She always made them so special for us...I will never forget them.
There was one Christmas in particular, I think it was about 1977 or so. The whole family was gathering at the house and spending the night, even my grandmother was coming. Keeping in mind that Mom was still working...but the house was beautifully decorated, with stockings for all of us, including pets, fastened to the balusters. The dinner that Christmas Eve night was a gourmet feast.....prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, and all the accoutrements.
At the time I don't remember thinking too much about it, but now as I look back I am in awe of everything that woman accomplished.
Thank you Mom, for everything you did for us our whole lives. I miss you and love you so much.

Marty and family,I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful and very kind person. I often think of the times that I walked down the street and she always had a smile and a kind word. May she rest in peace.

Dear Marty, I was saddened to read about Mom's passing. She was the sweetest women I ever knew. My fondest memory was the first time I came to dinner. She made pasta and cooked her sauce all day! Now I quite often just open a jar! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.Viki

Marty,I'm so sorry I can't be there for the funeral. I'm sitting at work, thinking about how it's about to start in half an hour and I'm missing it. I wish I could be there for you. I love you....your God-Daughter
