Emma..... my Emma started dancing with you and Ron when she was just 3 and you were at the YWCA over 20 years ago. So for over 20 years, Ron has touched my, Emily, Jared, Sarah, and Julia's lives as we have all been part of the Center Stage family. We will never forget his stories, his laugh, watching him walk the dogs (we remember when you found Elizabeth!), and how he used to look at you with so much love and pride in his eyes. He was one of a kind and will always hold a special place in our hearts; we feel honored to have known him. We have been blessed to have both of you in our lives. We love you both. Kimberly, Emily, Jared, Sarah, and Julia (The Alonge-Abbey Family)

Em...the news of Ron hit so hard. Words can not even begin to say what Ron and you mean to us, after all we had a "Bishop" officiate at our wedding...now not everyone can say that. Ron's stories keep echoing and I can only hope they stay as those moments were amazing. We will talk to you soon...until then if there is anything we can do just call...love, Roy and Lori Newman

Growing up at St. Anne's Church in Jersey City, I learned to play the organ in that church. Ron's card was always prominently displayed, and I knew from early on how important he was. Although only 5 ranks, I still consider it to be a fine organ, and still play it regularly. When my father died unexpectedly a year and a half ago, the sound of the organ could be heard as we got out of the car for the mass. It was a great comfort and I called him that night to thank him. We were working on expanding this organ and moving it back up to the balcony. When I took my first position with a pipe organ, St. Mary's Jersey City, Ron was in charge of its care, and it was always in a superior state of repair.A few years ago the Robert Morton theatre organ in the Loews Jersey theatre was finished, and I was elected as Staff organist. He was really thrilled on both accounts, and I am so happy that through recordings I made, he was able to see and hear this organ. He wanted me to see the one that he was involved in in Erie. I will truly miss the phone conversations with Ron. He was always so generous with his time, and had so many church and theatre stories. These were particularly interesting, because I knew the places and people he was talking about. There are people that have made the world and the people they touch in it, a truly better place and better people. I consider Ron one of those people. Although I will sorely miss him, I know that he is already working on some big organ project for Virgil, E. Power, Dick, Ray, ect.. WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.

Emmie,I was very saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I consider myself to be incredibly blessed to have known him for the past 2 years and you as well. I have spent hours talking to him while my girls danced and he always had a story to share and would always listen when I needed someone to listen. I considered him a very dear friend and will miss him with all my heart. He was an amazing person and I am a better person for having the chance to know him. I enjoyed my cherry lifesaver candy runs for Ron. I will never forget how many cherry lifesavers there are in the bag of mixed flavors..We had a few conversations about that..Thats just one of the many memories that brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eye..I will never forget him..My prayers are for you and your family during this time..If you need anything please dont hesitate to ask..God Bless..Love Tammy, Grace and Mikaela

I very surprised and sadden to hear this week of Ron's death. It caused a lot of memories of trips to his territory to work on his projects to pass through my mind. It was always a pleasure to help out with various projects he had going. I appreciate that I was able to make his acquaintance. He was always smiling, friendly and generous. There was always time for a cup of coffee and a chat. We enjoyed the common interest of trains. We'll all miss him. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Emmie, Ronald III and Richard:I was indeed incredibly saddened and stunned to receive word on Saturday evening of Ron's passing. Over the years he had shown me incredible generosity and manyfold opportunities in pipe organ service - most notably first in 1981 of playing the Grand Organ of Radio City Music Hall, and furthur wonderful opportunities there as a technician/tuner. Also on the night my brother was to propose to his wife-to-be, Ron arranged through Richard for us to go to the Music Hall and have me play for all of us, including my late father - this is a kindness of the highest order that will forever be with me. Ron was a gentleman's gentleman - always with a kind word and a funny story or two - of which he knew legions. His sense of humor was legendary and rapid-fire,and always made for great conversations during dinnertime on road trips.Through Ron, I had the great pleasure and honor of meeting and working with Raymond Bohr, after he retired as Chief Organist at Radio City. Ray also mentored me and encouraged me in my pipe organ technician endeavors, and also coached me at the Organ in two of his Reader's Digest arrangements - those of which I still play today as Staff Organist of the Loew's Jersey Theatre at Journal Square. The world was indeed a better place having Ron among us. May God in his infinite compassion console you lovingly and warmly in your hour of sorrow, and may the lifetime of happy memories you hold dear sustain you now and in the years to come.Ron - Godspeed and an eternity of blessed rest. Thank you for your many acts of kindness towards me. Respectfully,Peter Baratta, Jr.Director of Sacred MusicHoly Trinity ChurchFort Lee NJ
