Dear Darlene,Brad and Tiger, I just read the news of Smitty's passing. I wish I was there to give you all a big hug and personally tell you how much I enjoyed Smitty's sense of humor and the way he always treated our family. When I think of Westfield and all my fond memories, Smitty was definitely part of those. Walking down Bank street with that sack of mail and a big smile on his face. I was so sad when I heard about smitty, I am really going to miss him, especially his smile and hugs everytime I saw him. I went to see him at the Nursing Home and he was sleeping, I now wish I had woke him up. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Smitty's passing. I ALWAYS remember him as a happy time from my youth. A big smile and kind comments as he came up my front walk to my house, daily. Such a kind and generous man. The world has lost a wonderful person..........

Dar, and by my upbringers during the winter :) .... Brad, Tiger... I just called Dad tonight (John Evans) we send our deepest condolences to you. I loved Smitty like a father. I'm in OH but Dad will be there on the 7th for the service. Hold on tight to each other. I love you all.
