The Lake Erie New York Chapter 4 of Blue Star Mothers are all very sorry to learn about the passing of our wonderful member Caroline. She was active as long as she was able... She was very loyal and always kept up with me through emails. I had the pleasure of visiting her last spring...she made us a rhubarb pie that she whipped up that morning when she knew I was coming. She was an amazing woman who did all she could do for the Blue Star Mothers...she was VERY proud to be a member and wore her pin to church every Sunday! I know she is in Heaven...honoring all Veterans there! God Bless you Caroline...we loved you and respected you!!

My heart is so heavy and saddened to hear of the passing of Caroline. I met Caroline through the Lake Erie NY4 Blue Star Mother's chapter. She was always eager to help in any way she could and often opened her kitchen as a meeting place for the officers. I always enjoyed our visits and will miss her deeply. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family especially her great grand children whom she was so proud of and loved so dearly.
