WESTFIELD - Earl Everett Williams, age 68, of Westfield, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA after an extended illness.
Earl was born August 22, 1947 in Erie, PA. the son of the late Harry G. and Alberta (Williams) Williams.
After graduating from Sherman Central School, Earl enlisted with the United States Military, Navy, and made a career serving his Country for 25 years before retiring.
Earl enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and shooting his guns. He especially enjoyed spending times with his many friends.
Mr. Williams was a member of and had been an officer with the VFW Post 6764 of Westfield , and was also a member of the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge 118 both of Westfield.
He is survived by his sister, Linda (Michael) Conklin of Westfield, NY and one brother, Robert (Carol) Williams of Celeron, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Earl was preceded in death by brother, Harry Williams Jr.
Honoring Earl's request, all funeral services will be held privately.

WESTFIELD - Earl Everett Williams, age 68, of Washington St., Westfield, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA after an extended illness.
Earl was born on August 22, 1947 in Erie, PA, the son of the late Harry G. and Alberta (Williams) Williams.
After graduating from Sherman Central School, Earl enlisted with the United States Navy serving for 3 years and reenlisted in the military with the US Army serving his Country for 25 years before retiring from the Military Police with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Earl enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and shooting. He especially enjoyed spending time and socializing with his many friends.
Mr. Williams was a member of and had been an officer with the VFW Post 6764 of Westfield, and was also a member of the American Legion Post 327, and the Moose Lodge 118 both of Westfield.
He is survived by his 2 sisters Gloria (Jerry) Scholton of Panama, NY and Linda (Michael) Conklin of Westfield, NY as well as his brother, Robert (Carol) Williams of Celeron, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Williams Jr.
