Obituary of Dolores Meleen

WESTFIELD - Delores M. Meleen, age 84, of Westfield,NY died peacefully Monday, December 21, 2015 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA. after a brief illness. Delores was born September 23, 1931 in Pomfret, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Meyers) Seeker. A graduate of Fredonia School, Delores married her sweetheart, Stuart E. Meleen on October 19, 1957 in Pomfret, NY than settled in Westfield and together they raised one son, Kevin S. Meleen also of Westfield, NY. Stuart preceded her in death on November 23, 1978. She had been employed by Walmart, in Dunkirk, NY for several years as a cashier and retired in 2011. Delores enjoyed spending her days after retirement at home and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her son: Kevin S. Meleen of Westfield, NY and her granddaughter, Michaela Meleen also of Westfield, NY. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kimberly Meleen. There will be no prior visitation and burial will take place privately in the Westfield Cemetery.
