Obituary of Donald M. Nash

Donald M. Nash, Jr., age 59, of Fredonia, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at home following an extended illness. Don was born on September 21, 1956 at Ft. Meade, MD, the son of the late Donald M. Nash Sr. and the late Joan Evey. A 1974 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School, Don was a 1979 Graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy and completed an ASHP (American Society of Hospital Pharmacists) Residency at Albany Medical Center in 1980. He was a registered pharmacist, owning Nash Pharmacy Services, a pharmacy management and consulting business and was the co-owner of Patient's Pharmacy in Jamestown and Dunkirk. He was passionate about his work. Don enjoyed power boating and was an automobile enthusiast. He was an accomplished snow skier and loved water skiing and traveling. He enjoyed being with people; he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the American Assoc. of Consulting Pharmacists, the Pharmacists Assoc. of WNY, a former member and past president of the Fredonia School Board, a member of the Dunkirk Yacht Club and Shorewood Country Club. Don was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Fredonia and a former member of the church Vestry and church Building Committee. He was a Master Mason and a member of Forest Lodge F & AM of Fredonia. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sarah (Bain) Nash, his two daughters, Rachel (Andrew Gagnon) Nash of Brooklyn, NY and Gracia Nash of Fredonia, NY and by his son, Donald M. Nash, III of Fredonia, NY. Don is further survived by his mother, Judy Nash of Westfield, his two sisters, Brenda DiMillo of West Seneca, NY and Ellen (Jon) Bates of Portland, OR and by his two brothers, Brett (Sonia) Collins of Evergreen, CO and Brian (Susan) Collins of Mont Claire, NJ. Friends may call on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 2-4PM & 7-9 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY, and are invited to attend the funeral Service on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Day Street, Fredonia, NY with Rev.
