WESTFIELD - Concetta J. "Connie" Trippy, age 89, formerly of Westfield, went home to be with her Lord and her family on Saturday, October 8, 2016 after a brief illness.
Miss Trippy was born May 11, 1927 in Westfield, NY a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (DiLeonardo) Trippy.
A Westfield resident most all her life, she had been employed by various local dress makers, including the former Westfield Sewing Factory and the former Barmon Brothers Sewing Factory. When Connie wasn't busy, she enjoyed going shopping, going out to dinner, cooking, and attending church services. But most of all, her love for cats was unconditional.

She is survived by her nieces, Patricia Dispenza of Jamestown, NY and Dorothy (Nicholas) Mertes of Florida.
Connie was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Triscari, Rose Sciangula, and by her 5 brothers, Cosmo, Lawrence, Joseph, Frank and James Trippy.
