MAYVILLE - Robert E. "Rob" Dorman, age 58, of East Lake Rd., Mayville, NY, died Monday, October 17, 2016 at Westfield Memorial Hospital as a result of an accident.
Rob was born on February 24, 1958 in Westfield, NY the son June (Busch) Baker of Westfield, NY and Ronald P. Dorman
A lifelong resident of Chautauqua County, Rob attended Westfield School, had been employed by Conrail, Ridg-U-Rak, Inc. in North East, and Cummins Engine Plant in Jamestown. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman
Besides his mother, June, of Westfield, Robert is survived by one daughter, Meghan Dorman and her son Jordan of Simpsonville, SC and by his one son, Robert E. Dorman Jr. of Westfield. He is further survived by his sister, Debbie DeLand of Knightdale, NC and his brother, Steven (Alicia) M. Baker of Westfield, NY, as well as his nephew, Stacey DeLand of Wyoming, NY, and his niece, Nikki DeLand of Knightdale, NC.
Besides his father, Ronald, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lori A. Baker, who died in 1991.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY, from 11 AM until the time of services there at 12 Noon with Deacon Gary Wisniewski officiating. Burial will private.
