Dear Nancy, We are both down with different infectious diseases contracted from our grandchildren over Thanksgiving, or we would be able to tell you in person, today, how much we are thinking of you. We both liked and admired Charlie and, unitl we read aout his life in the newspaper, we didn't know the half of his contributions to our community and our country. He was quiet but warm. His schedule must have been very full, but he never seemed too busy to visit a little. He seemed to enjoy life, whether he was at work, driving a tractor, or at square dance, swinging a partner. He was a rare example to all of us of stability, committment, faithfulness and contentment with life.

NancyGeri Knoll called me the other night to inform me of Charlie's passing, I am very sorry to hear of it. I know that we did not spend alot of time in Westfield at the nursery.I can still return the time that we went swimming in the creek when I came uo to stay with Fanny.Hope that all goes well for you.Larry Knoll

Dear Nancy,I am very sorry to read about Charlie's Passing. I will always remember The Hank's as a very friendly couple who welcomed the Kelly's to Westfield in 1983. I enjoyed many a Thursday Evening at the Moose with Charlie and I am sure he is resting in Peace with The Lord.Our sincere condolences to you and your family.Terry

To Nancy and family: My deepest regrets for your loss. I have nothing but good memories of my contacts with Charlie. His valuable work and advice were central to the planning and execution of the Japanese gardens at my Finley Road home. They, like his many contributions for other clients, remain as a monument to his life and and a constant reminder of a good and always helpful person. I'm sure he will be missed and always remembered in the most positive terms by those who knew him. I regret not being able to attend the services, being that I am living in Finland at present, but I know you will be surrounded with family and Charlie's many friends. Tom Regelski
