Jim and I were very close friends. I had multiple contacts with his parents, Jim Sr. and his Mom. We attended ECC together. I was floored when Bonnie called me on July 8th 1991 with the news that he had a bad accident, I immediately booked a flight to see him. I saw Jim at the Erie county medical facility he had multiple broken bones and also the C2. I had visited him on numerous occasions in Westfield. Since then I had sent him cards on his birthday and at Christmas, and flowers to his health care providers (the nurses on his unit). I am also dismayed that no one contacted me after his death. Could someone please call me? I need closure. 7023497302.

My condolences to the family at this time of loss. It truly breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love. Be assured that God sees your pain and sorrow.
And He promises soon to "swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8) Our hearts will be
healed when our precious loved ones are restored to life by means of resurrection.
(John 5:28,29 ; Acts 24:15) These promises come to us from God, who cannot lie.
(Titus 1:2) May having these promises bring you comfort and a measure of peace.

Hello to Jim's precious family. My husband and I got to know Jim when he and my mother were at the Westfield Nursing Home together. Mom was there for 6 years, and I visited her at least 5 times a week. During our visits we frequently strolled the halls, and always stopped to visit Jim. Even after Mom passed in 1998, I visited Jim several times a year for a while, and always if I was there for any reason. He always maintained such a great sense of humor, and always made us laugh at some crazy thing going on in his limited world. With the computer, his world expanded significantly and that seemed to occupy him much of the time. There will always be a very tender place in our hearts for your dear Jim, and I know you all love him very much. May God's peace be yours in Jim's passing, and His blessings surround you especially this holiday season.
Very sincerely,
Marilyn and Bob Hall.

Jim and I became friends when my wife's Aunt Ruth was in the Westfield Health Care Center for over four years. Seldom a day passed when I would not stop in to visit with Jim and enjoy his company. I never talked with Jim during those four years, and afterward, when he was not cheerful and had a funny story to share with me.
The greatest joy in Jim's life was talking about his daughters. I saw both daughters over the years but never bothered to visit with Jim when they were with him. But later in the day or the next day, Jim would share with me the pure joy he had experienced with the girls. no man loved his daughters more than Jim Dwyer.
Jim will always be in my heart.

Jim was one of the greatest people I have known. I wish that I had a chance to see him more. He always seemed to place others' problems and dilemmas before his own. I will miss his heart, wit, and twinkly eyes. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
