This is such a difficult time for all of you and I am so sorry for your loss. It's a shame to lose someone so young. Terry, Terry's family and especially Zach, my grand nephew, are in our hearts and prayers. I hope each day brings healing and hope. And remember, your pain is only as bad as your love was good. Love you all.

As a teen I remember Terry had the best smile that would crinkle his nose and make his blue eyes shine that much brighter. He made my heart melt. Many years later when we were fortunate to get to know one another as adults, I was amazed to learn that he had taken on a new role as a loving and full time dad. He was a part of every aspect of his children's lives. He showed up. Nothing was more powerful or as beautiful as the love and devotion he had for his children, his parents, brothers and their family. May Terry be watching over his loved ones now as they heal from the loss of his earthly presence until they see him again in Heaven. Always and Forever

To the Ames Family my deepest condolences. Terry was a great person who always made me laugh.. and as I sit here reminiscing he still is. I don't think I personally ever knew him to be angry - always happy - always smiling. And that darn El Camino...
Rest Easy Terry... Your smile and laughter will be missed.

We would like to extend our thoughts and condolences to the family of Terry Ames. Terry was an amazing employee of Barmore Sellstrom for over 20 years. The task of finding someone to fill his shoes is going to be nearly impossible. Terry set the bar very high, and we here are Barmore's along with all of Terry's customers are extremely sad to hear of his passing. Terry will forever be a part of this company and our lives. He will be sincerely missed every day. Fly high Terry. Rest in Peace.

I would like to express my prayers and condolences to the Ames family. Terry was a truly awesome man. I feel very lucky to have gotten to work with him for the last 8 1/2 years. He always had his way of making sure my day started on a fun note, whether it was fixing something he screwed up and laughing about it or just poking fun at each other and the other guys before the day even started. He was definitely known for his ability to let everyone know exactly what he felt, and I would always appreciate that he had the courage to say what the most of us were thinking. He loved to talk about his family and all of the accomplishments of his children. There was nothing like the look on his face when he spoke of them. I know one thing for sure, his children were the reason he was up and at work with me at 7:00am every morning. In addition to his love for his children and family was his love of sports. I will never forget when he actually tried to break down a game of football and get me to understand the entire game....His efforts were valiant for sure, not successful, but valiant. I'm sure by now Terry has already found Arnold Palmer and is enjoying his eternal resting place on a golf course that would put Pebble Beach to shame. I will truly miss him.
