I am so sorry for your loss. I have enjoyed working with Ed and Patti at Growers. I heard a story or two over the years about Mom and Dad and always laughed. My prayers are withal of you. God Bless.

When I was school counselor at RCS, I had many chances to meet with Don. He was always positive and cordial, and able to get to the meat of any issue being discussed. He was truly a gentle man.
May God comfort you, his family and friends, as you mourn his passing.

I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. I was able to talk with him some at your mom's calling hours. I remember him always having a smile on his face so the picture posted with his obituary is very fitting. Ripley lost another good farmer.

I went to school with Don for 11 grades in Ripley before I moved to Virginia. I keep track of my school family as best I can. Still write to Joan H Roache. Sam Patton is my 2nd cousin, so I am able through him to find out how things are. He told me yesterday that Don had died. You have no idea how badly I feel. I came to a Ripley reunion many years ago and was the last time I saw him . His father was my school bus driver in the late 30's and early 40's.i lived on West Main road . The house and barn has burned.
Please remember the good times you had with your Dad. I am 2 months older than him.
Time passes so quickly, so love your family, sincerely. Nina
