Obituary of Raymond L. Brown

WESTFIELD - Raymond L. Brown, age 58, of Cass St., Westfield, died unexpectedly, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at home in Westfield. Ray was born on August 17, 1958 in Erie, PA, the son of the late William and Aldine (Vicary) Brown, Sr.. A Westfield resident most all his life, Ray attended Westfield Academy and Central School and enjoyed a 30 plus year career as an over the road truck driver, most recently with Myway Express of Erie, PA. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed NASCAR. Survivors include his two sons, Jared (Jessica) Brown of Dewittville, NY and Aaron Brown and his three daughters: Kaitlyn (Nathan) Spindler of Cassadaga, NY, Melissa Winton of Sinclairville Noel Ossman of Brocton. Ray is also survived by his four sisters, Starla Wilson and Jolene Gerlinger both of Dunkirk, NY and Pandora Brown of Westfield and Ruth Felton of Clymer, NY, as well as his two brothers: William Brown, Jr. and Robert K. Brown both of Westfield. Several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. He is further survived by his Step-mother, Betty Mele of Brocton. Besides his Mother and Father, Raymond was preceded in death by his two brothers, Stuart and Donald Brown. At Ray's request there will be no visitation and all services will be private.
