I was Computer Operations Manager during the time when Patty was lead key entry operator at Welch's. She was a loyal, hardworking employee with a terrific attitude. I could always rely on her, whether with a highly skilled project or some mundane chore that she was always so willing to help with. I came to trust her advice as well as her judgement.
She was with my department for many years but she decided to transfer to another department when the closing of the Westfield Computer Center was imminent. She was only one flight of stairs away but the department was never the same after she left. Kind of the way things are now - she is only "upstairs" but we are going to miss her humor, great attitude and winning smile.
"Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprint have left on our hearts."
To Patty's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.
