To all of Grace's loving family, on behalf of my mother, Betty Reid, and myself, we express our sincere condolences to you all. Grace and my Mom went "way" back in their hot bridge games which they both thoroughly enjoyed. The last time Mom and Grace saw each other was when Mom was leaving the hospital and Grace was arriving. Mom remembers(ed) her very fondly. I remember her as a wonderful, beautiful, graceful lady with a kind word for everyone. May God keep you and guide you through this difficult time.

Aunt Grace had a wonderful life and shared it freely with all of us. I have some wonderful memories of family reunions and Christmas gatherings in Westfield. The "garage " was infamous and the younger of the Heary clan and there are many of us have memories specific to that "room". I love you Aunt Grace. Thank you for everything and again, please tell mom and dad only the good stuff about me. I don't want to be in trouble when I see you all again!

I have so many happy memories of "the gang" gathered for drinks or a game of cards, and can easily picture Grace at the center of the action with her quick wit, her cardplaying skill, and her ready smile. She always struck me as a good wife and mother, a good friend, and a good person. Grace will be missed but her love and her joy for life will live on. My condolences to the Waite family.

I shared with Judy last week that her mother was an inspiration to me as a young girl because there was no other woman related to me who worked!! When she had a new kitchen installed I told myself I would also work so I could have that luxury! How funny the impressions on children are! I spent many days each summer in Westfield and never felt I wasn't part of the family. When there were family gatherings in Westfield I couldn't get out of the car quick enough. It was Christmas of 64 in Westfield when my mom let me announce to my aunts sitting around the kitchen table that she was pregnant. I was 9. Aunt Grace and Jo burst out laughing and said I was teasing them! I can't remember much but I remember the closet in the dining room was my favorite hiding place! I was very loved in that house. To my cousins I give my condolences. To my Aunt I give a big smile.
