Al and Kim, Your dad has been a part of my life since I was a teenager going to work at the Westfield Republican. He and Elliott were very generous when I was going to college and working for them part-time. Your dad always encouraged me to finish my degree and do what was best for my family. Your mom, what a fine lady! I knew her thru the YWCA and will always remember her cheerful smile and good nature. So quick with a hello and a kind word. They were assets to our community - and hold warm spots in many, many hearts. My thoughts are with you. Carol

Al and Kim,So sorry of the loss of your Mom and Dad, both. That is true Love as we see it. They were a great couple and we thought a lot of them. They enjoyed life to the fullest.We are wintering in our Florida home, so we cannot attend the funeral. Please accept our sympathy. May Gods love be with you.Bill and Pat Burgess

Alan & Kim,I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Having that happen so close to loosing your Dad must be extremely difficult. Your mother could light up a room with her cheerfulness. She was always so happy to see me when I would visit. Had to smile thinking about the time the doctor told your Dad he couldn't eat peanuts.
