Dear Gretchen and Carl,
I just found out about the loss of your mother, Jean. What a good neighbor she was to me when we moved in next door to you on Scottsdale Blvd. in December of 1965. My late husband, Chick, and I ran into her in Heinen's early in the 2000's after we had moved to Connecticut and were visiting friends in Shaker. It was as if we had just seen each other the day before. She was so warm and friendly. I know you both must miss her so much.
