WESTFIELD - Harry Jack Graham, age 84, of East Main Rd Westfield died Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Select Specialty Care Of Erie, in Erie, PA following a brief illness. Jack was born on November 13, 1923 in Sherman, NY, a son of the late Henry and Violet (Stearns) Graham. He served in the US Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1946 during World War II as a reconnaissance pilot in the European theater and retired from the active Air Force Reserves in 1957 with the rank of Captain. A well known area carpenter, Jack enjoyed wood crafting and construction. He also enjoyed antiques and was an accomplished antique refinisher and restorer; having done work for several local antique dealers. Jack was a former member of the Fire Department of Westfield Cascade Hose Co. #1 and was a member of the Fireman's Exempt Assoc. He was a Life member of the Loyal Order of Moose #118 of Westfield and a life member of the Wm. P. Jackway VFW Post 6764 of Westfield where he was a Past Commander of the Post. He is survived by his daughter: Gloria Graham Kincaid of Westfield, his two sisters: Ione Taggert of Orlando, FL, and Glenervia Graham of Westfield, and his brother Milton (Blanche) Graham also of Westfield. He is further survived by his four grandchildren; Kimberly Baker, Robert, Michael and Christopher Graham, as well as by his three great grandchildren Amara and Tyler Bowen and Erik S. Baker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora "June" (Bigler) Graham, in 1990 and his son, Norman L. Graham in 2002. Friends may call at the MASON FUNERAL HOME, 37 Clinton St., Westfield on Friday from 1 PM until the time of services there at 2 PM with Mr. Pete Dawson, Chautauqua County Fire Chaplain officiating. Private burial will be in Westfield Cemetery.
