I was passing through the area today and diverted to Jamestown in order to look up my old friend Donna. I was shocked to find out that she was taken so prematurely many years ago. We were good friends when we both lived in Erie before I moved away. I'll never forget her laugh and her love of life.
Rest in peace Donna.
Your friend,
Bob Whitney

Dear Strobl family,Please accept my sympathy. I am very sorry for your loss. Donna was a huge part of my life in Westfield. I have such fond childhood memories of sleepovers, laughter, walking to school together. We loved to sing while she played the piano. It's hard to believe that she is gone. She will be missed.

It was with great regret that I've learnt that Donna passed away. You are one of the couples I warmly remember from Westfield. I know that nothing can compensate the loss of a daughter, but this is the time when the good memories of the time you all spent together can help you overcome such a difficult time. All my love. Patricia

Dear Don, Jeanette, Mark and Beth,It is very difficult to believe that Donna is gone so suddenly. One of the highlights of returning home to Westfield was being able to catch up with her. We spent so much time with your family when we were little. We were like cousins. Many of the childhood memories that make me laugh involved Donna. We will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Karen and Gregg

I was very upset to hear about this tragedy. I'll always remember the late nights with Donna, playing Pictionary and Scrabble with her and my dad. I've known her for the past eight years, and I'll never forget having her as a part of my life. I'll miss hearing my dad say, "Em, I'm going to Donna's" or having him tell me that he can't take me to one place or another because he's going out to dinner with Donna. Going to my sister's at night won't be the same either. Instead of seeing Donna, my dad, and my sister sitting around the table, it'll just be my dad and my sister. She'll be missed.Emily Small

I'm so sorry for your loss. I recieved a call from my mom and was stunned by the news. I saw Donna about a year ago at the Peak skiing with my family. We would go there yearly so we were always able to catch up on how everyone was doing in our lives. She will be missed. I have some fond memnories of Donna playing drums with her in the band and growing up in our old neighborhood. My thoughts are with all of you at this time.

Dear Strobl family;I was deeply saddened to hear about Donna. I had worked with Donna at the Sword and Shield and have been blessed to have known her for over 20 years. I feel so priveledged to have had such a wonderful friend. Although we have not seen or talked much in the past few years, whenever we did manage to connect, we always picked up where we left off. When we would get together, we would laugh and make plans for when we were older and had more time. We would have time then to sit around, have lunch, play cards and have a glass of Chardonnay or a cocktail. Now she will be there in spirit. She was such a wonderful, caring, loving person, who loved her family so dearly. She touched so many lives thru her years of serving other people. Her laugh was contagious. Just a beautiful person. May you know in your hearts that thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bless all of you,Mary Eltz (Johnson)
