Obituary of Donna Kay Strobl

WESTFIELD - Donna Kay Strobl, age 52, of Findley Lake, NY, formerly of Westfield died Monday, April 13, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on March 2, 1957 in Buffalo, New York the daughter of Donald and Jeanette (Gillespie) Strobl of Westfield. She had been a Chautauqua County resident most all of her life. Donna was a 1975 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School, and attended both Jamestown Community and Hudson Valley Community colleges where she studied Dental Hygiene. She had resided in Erie for a short time, before returning to Chautauqua County where she was employed by Peak-n-Peek Resort for the past 20 years as a hostess and server. She loved to read, play bingo and do crossword puzzles. She was a family competitive Scrabble player. She was an accomplished Piano player who greatly enjoyed music. Donna liked to cook and was known by her family (especially her nephew and nieces) for her awesome wings. Besides her parents of Westfield, Donna is survived by her brother: Mark E. and his wife Cathy Strobl of Harborcreek, PA, her sisters Beth A. and her husband Mark Bargar of Jamestown, NY, and Vivian and her husband Dennis Harrison of Donalsonville, GA, her niece, Alaina Bargar, her God Child and niece Lauren Bargar, both of Jamestown, as well as her niece and nephew Brad and Jenna Strobl of Harborcreek, PA. Friends may call at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at The First Presbyterian Church and Society of Westfield, with the Rev.
